I was just surfing looking for Ninety Nine Goldmine and came across your website.  We have a colt of his, Mr. Dakota Kid, who we bought up in North Dakota.  I’ll bet you’ll be surprised to know we are using him as a foxhunter and eventer. 

He’s the most level headed horse we’ve ever seen, uncomplicated and willing, just figures things out whether galloping down the road next to traffic, jumping down into the water or jumping a 3’6” jump in the hunt, doing dressage, trail riding, or taking a novice over fences in the show ring.  And he’s so fast – all our barrel racing friends want him.  All that at only 6 years old.  I’m attaching a couple pictures.  So I guess Ninetynine Goldmine’s foals don’t just race!

What can I say about Goldmine? She's a 7yr old mare, who loves her job. We have only had Goldmine for a short time and Renie is still getting to know her.

This mare loves her job and is very willing to please the rider. She is very turny and ready to go! Goldmine can walk to the arena gate calmly before her run and is there ready when asked to be. She's been refered to as "gritty". When Goldmine is rode out in the open or in the arena she's very relaxed and free moving.

Goldmine herself has been at many CCA rodeos and futurities/derbies, however Renie and Goldmine have not competed at a rodeo together until CCA finals. Renie used Goldmine 3 out of the 5 performances, she tipped the first night and was 3rd the following 2 nights. We were very happy with Goldmine & Renie's success as it was a big place and an energized atmosphere for a horse/rider combination at their first CCA  finals.

Renie and Goldmine have competed at many SBRA jackpots and have either won or been in the top 2. Goldmine is very competitive with the ladies times. It is in my opinion that Goldmine & Renie run tougher outside compared to inside. I feel that outside Renie has more processing time and is able to place Goldmine better going to the 1st barrel. Inside they still are very tough but have more errors at their 1st barrel. Renie and Goldmine won the fall series with 550 points. Renie & Goldmine also won the junior high point at this series. I have won 4th at our district 1 mini finals in the open 1D. The 1st day I was 9th in the 2D and the 2nd day I ran a 17.01 and the next time to me was a 17.89.

We must give credit to sandy Stewart as the past owner, however Renie has been able to carry on and win with Goldmine.

We love this mare and get a lot of compliments on her!

I love my Goldmines - I just sold KRK Goldmine to a Junior Girl Barrel Racer. She was race broke when she was 2 and I got on her as a 5 yr. old when my futurity horse wasn't coming along fast enough. She hadn't been ridden since she was 2. I got on her in April and she made the short go in the first futurity in August in Winnipeg. She made the short go a couple weeks later in Melville, then a couple weeks later in Stettler! She just wanted to be a barrel horse!

RC Packin Gold is really working good, and from the beginning has just wanted to be a barrel horse. She will hit the futurity pens next year.

I just love the 99's so.... I have a 3 yr old gelding that I have very high hopes for!
